OUR LADY OF THE SNOWS PARISH

Fr. Larry Beck was born in Long Beach, California and was raised
in Brea, California in north Orange County where he attended St.
Angela Merici Parish School and Sonora High School in
neighboring La Habra. He is a graduate of the University of
Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil
Engineering. Having earned a Master's degree in Religion from St.
John's Seminary in Camarillo, California, he was ordained a priest
for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1988.
After serving 10 years in as parochial vicar in various parishes in
the archdiocese, he was granted permission to serve the church in
Utah and Colorado. In 2004, he returned to his native California
and has been serving in the Diocese of Sacramento. He was
appointed parochial administrator of St. John's Parish in Quincy in
2005 and Our Lady of the Snows Parish in 2006.
Fr. Larry has one brother, Robert, who is married with three
children. His father, Lawrence, still reside in Brea where Fr. Larry
grew up. In his spare time, Fr. Larry enjoys reading, camping and
outdoor photography.
