Father Bernardin
I was born and raised in Rwanda, a small country located in
Central East Africa. Rwanda before 1994 was 85% catholic. I was
born into a Catholic family and used to go to mass every Sunday
with my parents and with my brothers and sisters. We owe our
Catholic faith to the White Fathers, missionaries who came from
France and Belgium.
I was ordained to the priesthood on July 7, 1996. I joined the
Diocese of Sacramento in June, 2000. I am very happy to be a
priest and thank God for the wonderful choice and opportunity he
gave me.
