Musicians Needed
As you know we will need someone to step up and play music for our Masses. If anyone would like share their God
given talent with us we would be very grateful. If you can play the organ, maybe a guitar, or keyboard that would
be just fine. Please call one of the Priests, Fr. Mario or Fr. Larry for more information. Training can be offered to help
Understand the role of music in the Mass.
Capital Campaign envelopes for your Convenience.
Those of you who use offertory envelopes will have Blue Capital Campaign envelopes in your boxes for 2009. You will
also be receiving in the mail the envelopes you will need to make your pledge payment for the remaining three
months of this year. We encourage all parishioners to call the office and request offertory envelopes if you are not
receiving them already. There will also be a basket containing the blue capital campaign envelopes in both churches
for your convenience. Please remember you must make out the checks to OLS Capital Campaign. All donations
made for a specific purpose have to be honored. By clearly designating your check for the capital campaign
there will be no question as to where you want your money to go. You can place your envelope in the Sunday
collection at mass, mail your check to OLS Capital Campaign, PO Box 905, Westwood, CA 96137 or contact the office
for instructions on how to establish an electronic transfer from your bank. May God bless you for your generous
contribution to our parish.
If you would like to take an ad out in our bulletin the new date will be January thru June of 2009. Please contact 258-
2101 for more information. Thank you.

Nearly 37 million people in the USA live below the poverty line, & 13 million are children. The Catholic Campaign for
Human Development works to create lasting solutions to the problem of poverty through real community change.
Please donate prayerfully and generously to CCHD next weekend. Visit www.povertyusa.org. to learn more.
Sunday Second Collection
The second collection this weekend will be for Maintenance of both churches. The money we collect goes or
maintaining the lawns, and snow removal in the winter, plus any repairs that come up unexpectedly. We appreciate
your support of the parish; with out your help we really could not keep the parish in repair. Thank you and God bless
all of you.
Fr. Mario Needs Firewood for the coming Winter
Fr. Mario will be needing some fire wood for the winter. If anyone one has extra wood it would really be appreciated
at the Rectory in Westwood. Father is new to this so you will have to show him how to stack and what size wood he
needs. With fuel so expensive that stove was really kept going last winter to keep the priest nice and warm and
cozy. Hope you can help out Fr. Mario.
Church Cleaners Needed
We are in need of church cleaners at Westwood and Chester. There are sign up sheets in the back of each church.
We need some dusters to clean up the dust bunnies. We appreciate all the help that is given. Thank you cleaners.
